A Used To Be
I've always believed that there are two people. Those that want to help and those that physically do help. But what is help? Is it awareness? Is it an image? Is it getting your hands dirty? How important is it to be a community leader if everything you once had has made you a used to be?

The Escape Artist
The act of writing is a stage or a presentation of thought. When you elect to write. You do so for several unrehearsed reasons. One such place to hide is the letting go of a past you can't change. Rather than dwell on the sorrow turn it into an act of writing. Make it poetry that won't be understood. Not even by you in the moments that make this day...just another...along the way. On a path call me and my shadow.

Weakened Dream Constant Spinning
The destination of your next attempt is where? Or have you stopped yourself from growing forward? People don't get old. They act old. The body shuts down when parts of it are no longer needed. Its no different than moving out of a house that's too large to live in. Why do we stop dreaming? Have you labeled yourself a failure? How can you reignite the engines of success?

Vibrations
The depth of our perception doesn't qualify anybody for the Olympics. That would mean effort would be spent trying to exceed the limits of your personal journey. We've learned to accept bad service at restaurants. We have bosses that fail in the department of motivation. Kids are doing crack and the parents are right there with them. Yet...you should know. You are never alone.

1021 Thoughts: Creativity Isn’t A mood
January 27, 1999: Creativity isn't a mood
Lay with your eyes closed visualizing the perfections of every dream. Touch the skin of the self you see—there is no feeling, nor can you impersonate. At that very moment—the imagination starts to grow. The moment you open your eyes, a choice will be made—to paint or to set aside. To exhume the existence or to bury the corpse—assuming you have the tools to make a clean getaway. Pictures start to take shape. If white is ever present—think of it, not as silence—but instead, the next page.

Verbally Defending Is Nothingness
My neighbor hates my preacher. Does that mean I should hate my neighbor? The top three worst fears in American are unemployment, the economy and the government. Does that mean I should hook up with Virgin Airlines and take the first rocket to space? Having an indifference is what has turned our lives into success stories. What success? You have air in your lungs. That's a brilliant way to start a new day.
