Process Progress Equals Wow

Showing someone the importance of daily writing is an extremely difficult task. Nobody wants to write because the photograph of words ends up being tomorrows place of judgement. Learning how to trust the process is what creates progress. Today I open my writing. To not showcase but share a challenging storm. To read beyond the written words. For what was laid out on that day in November of 2015 is a brilliant tool for Oct 2016.

Why Do Cows Moo

As adults we've stopped asking ourselves why. When in reality every step and stop deserves to be studied. The best student in class is the greater teacher. Through teaching I'm able to see my own mistakes. It allows me to correct the habits. But does watching the student grow with their art truly make me a teacher. My job is to help open the creative path. Asking yourself questions leads you away from assumption.

How do you know God is speaking to you? Are they the positive words in your head and heart? What if God is also using what I call fade away thoughts. Those that get into the center of your thinking then quickly disappear by way of reshaping. To become fuel that which motivates you. How do you know when it's God?

Awareness

The rearview mirror is a great way to look at life. How often are you backing out of things but have no clue as to what you're about to hit? We go forward just to go backwards. We readjust to the right and left. But end up settling. Because no matter where you're backing the one thing you should've been doing is getting to where you needed to grow and it wasn't backing up.

My second book Another 1021 Thoughts deeply digs into the aftermath of September 11th. But the terrorism hasn't ended. November 15, 2015 another horrid event took place. The daily writing is very truthful to the moment not to serve my purpose in the present. But rather to help heal what once was. How then do you learn from it nearly a year later?

Post Production Blues

I've sat with multiple actors, musicians and comedians and talked openly about the horrid feeling of emptiness that consumes the mind body and soul after a performance. But I've never spoken with a preacher, minister or pastor after they've delivered the word in the pulpit then had to fade back into being a normal person. In November of 2015 I was blessed with the opportunity to share the word of God without knowing the after affects that would darken the world I was now part of.
