I never know what I am going to share when stepping up to the microphone. It's my agreement with God. I trust him. Wow! That was brave to openly share. Especially since most people in radio are completely programmed to say and deliver what the boss wants not what they truly feel and or believe. Radio people sell out but they'll never admit it to those that follow. Could you go back in your personal life and make changes?

Making Lists Pushes You Back

Throughout our lives the leaders constantly tell us to make lists. My choice has always been to step away from such decision making. To make a list takes you from the present and puts you on a path toward failure. You might as well be in Vegas gambling your life away. Making a list is an addiction. It's added weight to an already crowded day. Take notes! Just don't make a Top 5 list.

Miss Taking

When something goes wrong. We read about it on social networks. We are so busy giving away our moments that we forget that our journey is supposed to stay "Our" journey. Through challenges and change we make a lot of mistakes. The problem is... we're too busy taking other peoples moments that lessons are lost. Therefore the journey becomes lost.

I love studying the writing habits of poets, authors and song writers. Only to discover the lyrics in the Bible. What? Breaking down Bible verses helps open the soul the same exact way a favorite song or movie does. Communicating to your darkness requires the handwriting of a past that can't be changed. But through their experiences your future will.

Investing In Space

Sitting at a traffic light. Wandering mindlessly through an office. The television is on but you can't tell anyone what's being played. Your mind body and soul take control of what little space is available. But what is space? Is is communication? Is it a mind breaking down? How can you learn to listen to space?

I was shocked to see how many lawmakers were standing up and cheering during the President's State of the Union message. Why were they taking on the image of a church? That's where people stand up to be seen. You might be motivated to scream out, "Amen." But what are you doing to live in the present? To take the message and bend it into your life and style. Lawmakers were on call to be seen. Show your support so the speaker won't feel alone. But you truly want to find peace. Live in the moment. Put energy in the word. Rather than accepting what's being shared just because they're standing at the pulpit.

I've spent a lot of hours staring at clouds. I've always believed it God talking to us. But who knows the language? And what does it mean when God puts no cloud above our wandering head?
