I remember what it was like to finally write with a pen rather than a pencil.  My teachers were extremely strict about what I held in my hand.  Was it because we could easily erase the mistakes we made during spelling tests and while trying to figure out addition and subtraction?  On this podcast I dive into those moments of things we should erase but too many of us are documenting our lives with a pen.  Sure you can try to scratch it out but I've learned as a daily writer that the truer story and or attempt still lives on the opposite side of the sheet of paper.  Which is why I'll probably never reach for a digital way to keep whatever energy is moving through me.  Computer screens don't require an eraser and once your thoughts are gone you can't come back to the truthful walk you can only assume you know what you were feeling.  If we are to be living in the presence of Now shouldn't that come with an eraser and or computer screen that magically makes words disappear?  I agree with that approach and yet I'm torn by why we erase things rather than heal from them.  This isn't conceited but I locate knowledge in the pages written 18 to 25 years ago.  Stuff my heart let go of reunites with where I stand today.  There's no judgement, there's only experience.  In all that we do daily,  how you once lived can physically and mentally change someone's life during these moments of everyday change and challenge.  Allow yourself to put faith in your worst days so others don't have to endure the same.  Teach your journey.  You've mastered survival.

Touched By Blank

I invite you to fill in the empty space.  Touched by ______.  Someone's hand?  A thought?  A moment of togetherness?  On this podcast we put focus on how in 2019 we're spending less time taking note of what we are touched by and placing more energy into how we've been disciplined.  We walk into every day knowing what's expected.  The ability to succeed requires the right amount of energy and space to be used or how you're perceived will create a scene that some may call you out on.  Therefore the little things that touch us go unnoticed and or unspoken.  I was reminded of how powerful those little things are when a five year old I don't know and will probably never see again sat down beside his grandmother and I and placed on a one inch by one inch sheet of of paper his thoughts.  What I didn't see was him taking the paper out of the very small book and placing it next to me.  I noticed it while leaving.  I gave it to his grandmother.  The child raced over to take it from her and he gave it to me.  I sat down with him and explained how important it was this moment we presently stood in.  I said, "I'm a daily writer.  Writing words on paper is so important to me.  For you to share this with me is something I invite you to never stop.  Writing has the ability to change peoples lives.  Thank you so much for sharing your words."  That one inch by one inch handwritten note from the five year old was securely placed in my daily writing journal this morning.  Touched by ____.

Living In The Positive Now

<a class="spreaker-player" href="https://www.spreaker.com/episode/17751960" data-resource="episode_id=17751960" data-width="100%" data-height="350px" data-theme="dark" data-playlist="show" data-playlist-continuous="true" data-autoplay="false" data-live-autoplay="false" data-chapters-image="true" data-episode-image-position="right" data-hide-logo="true" data-hide-likes="false" data-hide-comments="false" data-hide-sharing="false" data-hide-download="false" >Listen to "Living With The Positive Now" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>

We all deal with it.  Waking up in a bad or lazy mood.  Then we carry it forward to our workday.  Wow!  What did your fellow creative people do to deserve that part of your personality?  You can't hide a bad mood or shape of thoughts that aren't perfectly designed to motivate.  You can though be in control of your Now.  On this podcast we talk about hitting those invisible walls with absolutely no desire of wanting to penetrate them or throw them to the side.  This isn't Jesus speak.  Trust me living a Christian life means faces barrels of darkness not just on Monday's and Friday's but everyday.  That's how you strengthen your faith.  Face the wickedly weird beast and don't allow it to reach others by way of you spreading the moods that which have consumed you.  Mood swings and uninspired times are usually caused by what we've done before this moment of Now arrived.  You can't rewrite your past in a world where smart phone cameras are capturing everything.  You can't live in a future where everything seems to be standing in the way of your success.  Deal with your Now by identifying the purpose of your moment.  Live a positive Now.  Winning is a choice.  Being upset is a choice.  Hating your boss is a choice.  It doesn't matter how much water you drink you can't wash away a bad mood.  You have to change the way you accept your Now.  Belong to it.  Treat it like the way you want to be treated.  Be respectful of it.  Grow with it.  We all have bad days and it's usually caused by bad thinking.  Create your positive Now.  Not everybody is gonna love that side of you.  There are people that hate positive people.  It doesn't matter.  When all is said and done you have to live with yourself.  Be truthful to that part of the journey.

Just Say I Forgive You

<a class="spreaker-player" href="https://www.spreaker.com/episode/17742014" data-resource="episode_id=17742014" data-width="100%" data-height="350px" data-theme="light" data-playlist="show" data-playlist-continuous="true" data-autoplay="false" data-live-autoplay="false" data-chapters-image="true" data-episode-image-position="right" data-hide-logo="true" data-hide-likes="false" data-hide-comments="false" data-hide-sharing="false" data-hide-download="false" >Listen to "Just Say I Forgive You" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>

I daily write not to relive.  I daily write to learn from.  Today I paged back to August 3, 2016.  That's almost three years of everyday life experiences.  What seemed to come across as a growing victory actually turned into a horrid journey and extremely damaging storm.  On this podcast I'm transparent in the way of knowing how important cliffs are when it comes to taking a leap of faith.  You can't deny that we work to reach certain points of personal discovery as well as business success.  When it doesn't play out the way we planned or dreamed it feels like the universe swallowed us then spit us out on the opposite side of a nameless dark hole.  Once free from all that stapled your existence to the invisible sheets of creative paper the desire to move in any direction becomes an overcrowded road map not yet identified by Google or Facebook.  How do you cross that bridge of faith knowing the patterns of choice resembles a life once lived?  We  are creatures of habit.  We put ourselves in places and situations of the same actions and reactions because it's become a comfort zone or a place we know so there's less stress.  You'll deal with whatever's delivered.  Yet we hold onto the dark clouds streaking through an empty sky thinking in the blink of an eye it'll become sunshiny.  Not until you forgive yourself and all things and others involved.  So many try to do it face to face.  That's not necessary.  Why put yourself in a past you can't change?  Just say, "I forgive you."  Then grow forward.

The Lyrics From Billy's Forest Chapter 150

<a class="spreaker-player" href="https://www.spreaker.com/episode/17731411" data-resource="episode_id=17731411" data-width="100%" data-height="350px" data-theme="light" data-playlist="show" data-playlist-continuous="true" data-autoplay="false" data-live-autoplay="false" data-chapters-image="true" data-episode-image-position="right" data-hide-logo="true" data-hide-likes="false" data-hide-comments="false" data-hide-sharing="false" data-hide-download="false" data-cover="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/images.spreaker.com/original/4b5773c832c2c110acdc05f533b8ba7b.jpg">Listen to "The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 150" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>

This one might actually strike a match and cause a fire.  Preachers endlessly pass the word forward by way of reminding us that God uses others to speak directly into our paths of choice and direction.  Who can argue with that?  We all know people that have used their sense of peace as a great healing tool.  But if you talk to many wandering through this everyday world how often do you hear them say, "I trust nobody.  I will never put faith in another person."  It's a collection of emotions.  Back to the preachers.  If God is using others to work his way into our game of chance and opportunity and we're putting ourselves in positions of no longer trusting the human stick figures where along the way does inspiration make it's way toward the victory or celebration?  On this podcast something fell out of me that sent a shock wave through where I stood.  I said, "I'm not in business with God.  I'm out of business."  Meaning my relationship with a higher source of growth doesn't need to be weighed down with the existence of business but rather relationship.  You already have a boss.  What your journey might be lacking is personal growth and forgiveness with absolutely no overtime.  Being in business with God means judgement.  Business also means overhead.  Being in business means 98% of the time you aren't being a leader but rather counseling others on your team who might not be as invested in the success of your business.  Being out of business with God is a relationship that won't break unless you choose to walk away and to my knowledge you never have to give a two week notice like a business.  God didn't employ you and you didn't employ him or her.  Therefore it's not a business.  It's a walk and way of life that puts seeds in the soil.  Let go of the vine and allow yourself to be caught not bought.

Speaking Each Others Street

<a class="spreaker-player" href="https://www.spreaker.com/episode/17721536" data-resource="episode_id=17721536" data-width="100%" data-height="350px" data-theme="dark" data-playlist="show" data-playlist-continuous="true" data-autoplay="false" data-live-autoplay="false" data-chapters-image="true" data-episode-image-position="right" data-hide-logo="true" data-hide-likes="false" data-hide-comments="false" data-hide-sharing="false" data-hide-download="false" >Listen to "Speaking Each Others Street" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>

Because I'm a creative writer that's put a lot of faith and purpose into what I call Stream Thinking there are endless occurrences when people have no clue what I just said in a conversation.  My sister is deeply bothered by the words I sometimes choose.  She doesn't get the expression.  We're all guilty of it.  We have developed a pattern of sharing words that sound fine through our ears but those who've chosen to listen aren't tapping into the source of energy.  While lecturing I'll see those in attendance twist their head to the side which is a signal for me to shrink the size of the art speak and come back to the surface more down to earth.  Without a doubt the way I write has totally infected the words that slip from my lips.  I've been hooked up to musical lyrics and poetry the entire journey and when you write as much as I do, the distance from my finger prints to words vocally being shared truly isn't that far.  Now toss in Facebook, Twitter and Instagram where you can't hear my inflection.  How often does an email reach the heart of something that injured more than inspired?  We need to spend more time speaking real words to one another.  Not note sharing.  Not selfie pictures.  Real language.  If you spend more time with someone from the deep trenches of Louisiana in time you'll stop questioning the unique way of conversation and accept every word being offered.  Let people hear your street speak.  Let there be a voice.

Invisible God

<a class="spreaker-player" href="https://www.spreaker.com/episode/17543246" data-resource="episode_id=17543246" data-width="100%" data-height="350px" data-theme="light" data-playlist="show" data-playlist-continuous="true" data-autoplay="false" data-live-autoplay="false" data-chapters-image="true" data-episode-image-position="right" data-hide-logo="true" data-hide-likes="false" data-hide-comments="false" data-hide-sharing="false" data-hide-download="false" data-cover="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/images.spreaker.com/original/d1211eeb64aded836c076b17ec7b5588.jpg">Listen to "Invisible God" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>

Look.  Don't take this as a negative but rather moving through the truths that stand before us by way of experience and awareness.  Everyone of us are trying to survive inside a world created by an invisible God.  On this podcast we go face first into a storm caused by false hopes and empowerments put into play by the physical act of hypnotizing ourselves into believing positive thinking is the only way to enjoy a sunrise.  Once again this isn't a negative.  It's learning to identify with those moments when your head and heart can't locate the right words to convince yourself to have a better day.  Owning up to the moment doesn't mean you have to prepare for war.  But we do.  We lean on others to quickly rescue us.  We reach for the Red Bull and chocolate then falsely and impatiently wait for a return on the investment.  Every preacher on the planet will tell you God is everywhere.  I get it.  Then why isn't he present in your loss and emptiness?  While writing this morning I stood back for a moment after placing these words on the page,"Are we to become empty because when we die we can't take any of it with us?"  Not a negative.  Awareness.  A newer way to look at a path and way to still be alive in moments of doubt, guilt, shame and whatever else we are carrying.  A couple of months back I stopped telling people that my heart is always open.  You don't have room for more.  Begin a journey of letting others know that you are clearing your mind body and soul.  Mindfully we don't have to wander through these unwritten chapters.  Be present in your now and grow forward with courage and confidence.  Survive in this world created by an invisible God.

A New Walk

<a class="spreaker-player" href="https://www.spreaker.com/episode/17530371" data-resource="episode_id=17530371" data-width="100%" data-height="350px" data-theme="dark" data-playlist="show" data-playlist-continuous="true" data-autoplay="false" data-live-autoplay="false" data-chapters-image="true" data-episode-image-position="right" data-hide-logo="true" data-hide-likes="false" data-hide-comments="false" data-hide-sharing="false" data-hide-download="false" data-cover="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/images.spreaker.com/original/41294120d1bef62bf94ac91a6ee8576f.jpg">Listen to "A New Walk" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>

Meditation is something many speak of but disconnect from because it's extremely difficult to tune out of life.  Anyone that admits they have fourteen different voices in their head and heart at the same time is a person connected to reality.  The reason why we don't dump them is because every now and then that message maker has led you into areas of victory.  How then can we get in control of what's making you feel out of control.  On this podcast we talk about how to change what you think is meditation.  There are no written rules that say you have to sit on the floor with your legs cross and your palms pointed upward.  Just as much as you don't have to bring your hands to your lips while praying.  I daily write because it's meditation.  So much energy is moving through each of us at speeds we can't identify.  Stream thinking has taught me to trust the present.  Be alive in the moment.  Don't judge and or fear.  Just write. Whatever.  Let the source of empowerment move through your gift of being present.  In the beginning it might be about dark times, fear and guilt but with everyday practice you'll be amazed at how purifying meditation writing is to every step you bring forward.  I write at 4:30 every morning.  Never in the mood.  Willing to show up.  I write a second time in a completely different book at 3:00 pm.  It's to de-frag.  To let go of what the fourteen different voices dumped on the parade.  Don't be afraid to leave your journals on the coffee table.  Who cares if someone opens your chapters and reads it.  It's called communication.  Share your writing by way of allowing yourself to clear your heart.

The Beauty Of The Everyday

<a class="spreaker-player" href="https://www.spreaker.com/episode/17519845" data-resource="episode_id=17519845" data-width="100%" data-height="350px" data-theme="light" data-playlist="show" data-playlist-continuous="true" data-autoplay="false" data-live-autoplay="false" data-chapters-image="true" data-episode-image-position="right" data-hide-logo="true" data-hide-likes="false" data-hide-comments="false" data-hide-sharing="false" data-hide-download="false" data-cover="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/images.spreaker.com/original/a60ec9bdf0b09417b5cafc1debe701eb.jpg">Listen to "The Beauty Of The Everyday" on Spreaker.</a><script async src="https://widget.spreaker.com/widgets.js"></script>

Those evil blocks.  Invisible particles of a past we can't change and a future we can't seem to reach.  Blocks.  It's  too easy to bring up meditation and or spirituality to get you through this mess upon a journey that feels out of control.  On this podcast the goal is to put focus only on the moment.  Right here right now.  It's truly the only thing you have control of.  I was invited to lecture the other night.  I play a game called Who The Hell Are You And Why The Hell Are You Here.  A guest strongly told her story, "I  hate my job.  I can't stand who I work with.  I need to find a place that will accept me for me."  Oh boy many of us have been there or are currently experiencing such a walk.  If more decision makers could see the enormous amount of people they've injured the workplace would change.  They are the designers of the blocks, the walls, the pathless walks of so many who have the ability to activate their greater gifts but have been brutalized by leaders protected by ZipRecruiter and Indeed.  For the average person the idea of your dreams being halted leaves wide gaps in the future performance.  Getting through this storm means dealing with your present.  Being in the Now.  Remove yourself from the days of where you once stood and stay completely clear of a future that has no idea who you are until you get there.  Being present in your moment of Now helps you construct a firm foundation of delivery.  It's not an overnight victory.  It's an ongoing trust that must be activated in all things you do.  Stay away from the trigger points.  Become aware of your value.  Take a left turn at your current block and make things right.

Walking in the rain.  Most choose not to.  It's uncomfortable and it totally destroys whatever hairstyle you're trying to sport in the moment.  Life is series of storms.  Often times it feels like a total downpour of bad energy connected to a fog that keeps us blind from the reality of the present.  On this podcast we cover three disconnection that led to a better walking path.  From the creation of the storm to handling what you have no control of.  Then becoming aware of who and what you are and shall grow toward not today but within the methods of madness that lay ahead.  Interesting enough we feed our darkness.  Mainly with the people we hang with.  Other people's headlines totally make the clouds that invite the winds of change.  Naturally we have to feel like we belong.  Mindfully, that's not exactly true.  If what friends and neighbors are doing causes you to increase the flow of drama, guilt, fear and shame.  You've got to break free of the rain.  Because I'm a daily writer, I use the truthful words to serve as a measuring of where I stand.  We all have feelings.  Through the identification of what's in your Now we make choices and decisions based on how we're going to get fixed.  We want it now!  An awesome place but not reality.
