Life After Our Quotes

I am a free form writer. That means I've given myself permission to never walk into a writing project holding the reins of a perfectionist. In October of 2015 three quick quotes leaped free from my writing instrument. Today August 31, 2016 we're stepping back to the moment and seeing what the writer was saying and asking, "Do I still believe?"

Daily Conversations

I've been blessed to get the opportunity to talk with a lot of creative minds. In every conversation I love taking the talk to that place. Where does it arrive from? Most laugh it off. While some will speak beyond the clouds and mountain tops. Having a creative mind and heart is something we've all been born with. It's a choice to set it free or close it off for others to see.

Tommy Dreamer is one of the most respected figures in professional wrestling. Jessica Joelle Alexander is an American author, columnist and cultural trainer. She graduated with a BS in a psychology and went on to teach communication and writing skills in Scandinavia and central Europe. Married to a Dane for 13 years, she lives in Rome with her husband and two children, Sophia and Sebastian. Co-author Iben Dissing Sandahl is a certified coach, author and a licensed narrative psychotherapist, MPF, with her own private practice just outside of Copenhagen. I ran from the world of religion when the preacher stood in front of his strong congregation and threatened each of us. We'd all burn in hell. God was in the mood to punish his people. So when a radio guest sends out the same vibration. I break free of the stage and peaceful move in a different direction.

The Transition

Every step we take. We transition. You don't have to stand in front of four hundred people or a tiny congregation to be asked to open your heart. The process of change endlessly goes unwritten. We don't take the time to study our behavior. We just keep walking. But if we understood the challenges and changes the mind moves through while sharing. The landing would be smoother.

The beauty of being a Christian is knowing the relationship with Christ is blessed by the presence of no judgement and unconditional love. Sadly it doesn't mean each of us are Heavenly protected. Too many walk into their everyday expecting God to do something. When in fact its never been written that way. Yes God is a loving God. But our wants and needs with all of our victories must also be looked upon as having moments of loss.

A man asked me this past week if I was a fake or if I was truly as passionate as I deliver. I began to ask myself, "Am I being too open with people?" Today I happened to come across a daily writing entry where I admitted to myself that I was waking up ugly. But as you listen to the writing you'll hear how the creative mind doesn't create divisions but proper decisions.

Legends Of Their Own Time

I can't go to a concert or movie without wondering why the connection has been made. I endlessly think about the paths that may have put us there during a different time. Or is it the first step of a new direction? So much is moving around us at all times. How often do you pay attention?

My dad used to tell me that I am full of myself. I always wanted to shout out, "You have no idea what's inside of me!"

Who Is Your Passerby

Too many of us work too hard on trying to please the boss. And in that moment the hardship of everyday life is that your boss can fire you. Make a disconnection. Turn your life into a tortured terror until you quit. But for some reason we've become addicted to receiving their blessing. How many places on the map do you ignore because something as simple as a feather placed in front of your path was actually a message from God saying, "I love the way you fly."

The Wanderer's Song

I love to people watch. But I do it more for the listening. What? I'm trying to reach out to catch what so many won't set free. It's within that energy that creative flow is given a chance to breathe.

Back To The Future

It doesn't matter how often we are told to live in the moment. We've all embraced the thought of going back to the future. To return to a moment where we can exchange a bad decision for something positive. It makes me wonder. If you had the ability to correct a moment. Would the memories created by your favorite songs in 2016 carry the same special feeling?

When Brilliant Fails

My favorite go to word is brilliant. I love the way it sounds. I love the energy it creates. But too often we don't get to experience brilliant. Most of us spend too much time trying to get back to where brilliant failed us so that we try it again and again. But it halts us from growing forward. Or does it?

Hello Mr Yesterday

We spend so much time wanting to change that we won't allow ourselves to change. We can't grow forward if every thought presented is an image of who you were yesterday. Bosses aren't interested in your growth forward. Yet we invest hours in making sure you keep your job. How's that fair? Build a stronger you by knowing exactly who you are.
