Showing someone the importance of daily writing is an extremely difficult task. Nobody wants to write because the photograph of words ends up being tomorrows place of judgement. Learning how to trust the process is what creates progress. Today I open my writing. To not showcase but share a challenging storm. To read beyond the written words. For what was laid out on that day in November of 2015 is a brilliant tool for Oct 2016.

Why Do Cows Moo

As adults we've stopped asking ourselves why. When in reality every step and stop deserves to be studied. The best student in class is the greater teacher. Through teaching I'm able to see my own mistakes. It allows me to correct the habits. But does watching the student grow with their art truly make me a teacher. My job is to help open the creative path. Asking yourself questions leads you away from assumption.

The rearview mirror is a great way to look at life. How often are you backing out of things but have no clue as to what you're about to hit? We go forward just to go backwards. We readjust to the right and left. But end up settling. Because no matter where you're backing the one thing you should've been doing is getting to where you needed to grow and it wasn't backing up.

Post Production Blues

I've sat with multiple actors, musicians and comedians and talked openly about the horrid feeling of emptiness that consumes the mind body and soul after a performance. But I've never spoken with a preacher, minister or pastor after they've delivered the word in the pulpit then had to fade back into being a normal person. In November of 2015 I was blessed with the opportunity to share the word of God without knowing the after affects that would darken the world I was now part of.

The Arrival

Mood swings and indifference have always been my place of study. Maybe because the idea that your mind body and soul can change its direction without a signal is unfair. Then again. When you greet the everyday with the acceptance of there being an arrival. The waves and ways of the energy we carry always holds the signals being sent of there being change. Learning to study the arrival will put you in a better place every time.

Hearing The Calling

There was a step in my childhood bedroom. I used that step to share what I knew about God. My congregation was a collection of stuffed animals. Most of which I still have in my possession at 54 years old. Radio became my pulpit. Only to realize God's loving arms were tugging on my soul to locate the steps to his purpose.

Breaking Down The Process

Breaking down the process requires a level of spiritual connection as well as honesty with the entire self that brought you to the moment you're presently standing in. It's too easy to experience then set it aside. Mainly because life gives giving us things to do. Without realizing the situations that we're part of are physical tools in the process of path making.

Who Am I

I don't see anything wrong with asking, "Who am I?" I believe its very healthy to create blank spaces. I am _______. To label ourselves puts us on a path of what we feel is. But in reality it closes the door on what we need to become.

Where Does Time Go

I am a time freak. Three hours early is six hours too late. When we lose time. Where does it go? I'd like to get back what we so willingly toss aside. Or to latch back onto the time vibe that a boss feels belongs to them. Yet they leave on time for outside adventures like golf or to just go home without a cast of characters labeled employees. Where does time go when we lose it?

Speaking To Your Future Self

I don't live in my past. I believe what we write speaks to our future.

Blind Eye Fearful Soul

What does the blind eye tell the fearful soul? When tragic moments happen in our lives. The first thing we do? We stop breathing. If God is alive in your mind body and soul. Cutting off the oxygen moving inside shuts him down. Your heart. Your muscles. Your system of thought needs air to move forward. God gives us air to breathe for more than what you think.

Turning It Around

Someone recently took note of how these stories shared are changed in ways that take the light off the one doing the writing and put onto someone who might be going through the same experience. They wanted to know if I was still being faithful to the writer. What happens to the writer when he realizes it's probably going to be a subject on the air?

Daily Writer vs Daily Thinker

I am a free form writer. Does that make me a free form thinker? I believe businesses are designed today to bank on the free form of anything as long as you catch them in the middle and not the end result. The bend me shape me policy. Great idea but do it our way. We will train you at our expense. What we live everyday is a divided highway of decision making. Those labeled boss and the employee that keeps the boss employed. In everything we do there are separate points of views. One problem. Neither side wants to listen and or negotiate.

Feed Your Seed

We label days of the week. It motivates us to bend beyond the true shape or wall that stands in front of us. The idea of feeding the seed God wants us to become is the furthest part of your short term success story. The reasons for enduring good and bad seasons has nothing to do with your bad boss and everything to do with your excuses as to why you won't let yourself become what you were designed to live out.

I took a writing instrument with me into church. Not to take Biblical notes. Not to critique my incredible pastor. I wanted to document how the word of God moved through me. To better understand the power of his word and why it is that we explode with energy when the message reaches our soul. The lesson has taught me to be a better listener as well as activator.

The White Picket Fence

We are taught there's only one God. My favorite conversations are with pastors and ministers that allow the personal conversations to reach beyond what we should know and into what we assume. What is creativity? How does it play out in your life? Some say they're creative. While others claim they have no such bone in their body. I tend to argue. I believe your purpose in life to take what you create to the people. But because we fear judgement. We shut down. We turn our backs on The Way. Then spend the rest of our lives wondering what if? Or doing jobs you truly can't stand but you live with it.

One Step Out Of The Hole

It's completely natural to want to stop doing things. But we never stop to think how many people it infects. I call it a moment of selfishness. When we suddenly turn things off. Not show up for work. Set aside a trip with the family. Create sickness as the excuse when the reality is... You just wanted to turn things off for a moment. To reboot and or unplug.
