Armchair Quarterbacks Kill Dreams

I wish I could take back all the words I've put down on a single page. I wish I never became a writer. I wish the art of expression had skipped over me. I wish. I wish. I wish. But in the end. It doesn't matter. We were all born to write. The song featured at the end comes from my cd 15 Pieces from a Faceless Beast. The song was inspired by and written about Julia Cameron. The author of The Artist Way. I can't imagine life today without that single day in Santa Barbara where my eyes met her pages. Nothings ever been the same. I've never been blessed with the opportunity to meet Julia. I've talked with Yoko, David Crosby, Tommy Shaw of Styx, Queen and the funniest people on earth. But I've never been given the chance to say, "Thank you to Julia Cameron." If she only knew how many millions of people have been touched via her written word.
